Welcome to Act Sustainable!
On these pages, you will find the official programme for Act Sustainable 2022! The programme is divided day by day stretching from Monday 14/11 to Friday 18/11.
Each day has three slots for events: Morning Session, Lunch Session, and Afternoon Session.
Morning Sessions are comprised by the Act Sustainable Research Conference. The conference takes place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings (16/11-18/11) and include inspiring keynotes, presentations and roundtables. Act Sustainable Research Conference is aimed mainly for researchers and PhD-student. Students and other stakeholders are welcome to participate as well.
Lunch Sessions are entirely dedicated to the student organizations at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg.
Afternoon Sessions are mostly characterized by activities such as workshoping, seminars and lectures.
Who can register, and how?
You register for each event separately and you can register for as many as you like. All information you need to participate is located on these pages. Each registration will generate an email with the specifics for the event you registered to, practically located in your inbox.
All events in the official programme for Act Sustainable are in English or a combination of English and Swedish, and they´re open to all students and staff at the universities.
Don´t miss the side-events!
Besides the official programme Act Sustainable also feature side-events. The side-events don’t necessarily follow the same rules as the events in the official programme. They may vary in language, time, place, and targeted audience. So be sure you check out the side-events page for the whole week here: To the side-events page

A reflective artifact
Welcome to partake in our interactive installation - Hi Stranger! We invite all participants of Act Sustainable to interact with a focus on the emotions that arise when dealing with our current ecological, economical and social situation. We see the importance of collectively sharing our hopes and fears for the future. Displaying these publicly will make the voices and thoughts from Act Sustainable visible and hopefully head outside the event.
The interactive installation is located at the entrance of Studenternas Hus and you can visit it in-between events of Act Sustainable 2022. The installation is coupled with a discussion workshop happening during the Act Sustainable 2022 Closing Mingle and Fair on Friday 18/11.
This project is created as a collaboration with Cali Karlberg, Elin Parlmaer Karlsson and Wiktoria Czekajska, students from the master's programme in Embedded Design at HDK-Valand at the University of Gothenburg. Its implementation is coordinated by Wiktoria Czekajska (firstname.lastname@example.org). The project is supported by Centre for Sustainable Urban Futures.
